Maps Keyboard Shortcuts
Adjust 1-side of a Polygon (no mirroring)
When to use
You have a completed polygon/shape that needs re-sizing or re-shaping.
Keyboard Shortcut (win/mac)
Hold CTRL/COMMAND ⌘, left-click and drag the side of the polygon you wish to re-size
Remove Polygon Point
When to use
When a polygon/shape is complete but requires adjustments.
The Add/Remove Points Tool must be active.
Keyboard Shortcut (win/mac)
Hold ALT/COMMAND ⌘ and left-click on the point/node of a polygon to remove it
Undo Polygon Line
When to use
If you make an error as you are plotting your polygon/shape.
The polygon/shape must be open.
Keyboard Shortcut (win/mac)
Press DELETE or ⟵ (BACKSPACE) to delete the last polygon line from your shape
Select Multiple Map Features
When to use
You have added multiple elements to your map and want to select more than one.
Keyboard Shortcut (win/mac)
Hold SHIFT ⇧ and left-click on the polygon(s) you want also have selected
Deleting an element on a map
When to use
You have added an element to your map & want to delete it in its entirety.
Ensure element is selected.

Press DELETE or ⟵ (BACKSPACE) to delete the polygon from your map
Complete Polygon
When to use
You are ready to complete your polygon / shape.

Double left-click on the mouse
Undo
When to use
Undo your last last polygon movement

Hold CTRL and press Z
Redo
When to use
Have used undo and with to redo that action again (helpful if you get too trigger happy with Undo)

Re-Open Polygon
When to use
You need to re-open a completed polygon / shape.
Ensure your polygon is selected.

Smart draw
When to use
‘Smart Draw’ (also known as ‘space bar shortcut’) enables you to outline areas of a boundary in just a couple of clicks.
Useful when marking up large corners / curved edges that include lots of individual nodes (snap to point toggle must be on)!
