Who are you?
I'm going to say two things here. First and foremost is the team, in short they are all great to work with. A group of individuals all highly skilled in their fields, yet all so humble and who come together to become a great team. It doesn't matter what issue you are having (or silly question you are asking 😅), there is always somebody who will put up their hand to help, regardless of their own tasks. This leads me onto my second point, the drive within the business. From top to bottom everyone is so determined to succeed, meaning we can all work together with a singular purpose and put what is best for the business and our users first.
How do you spend your weekends?
Myself and my fiancée Petra recently moved outside of the city and spend a fair amount of our time taking long walks in the forest with our dog Molly. I find the experience of being outside and getting lost in nature so grounding. Especially as I spend my work days at a computer screen I think it is super important to strike a balance and find a pass time that is a bit more active. Tip, Swinley forest is a great place to just get away from the world.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Talisker - a peat smoked scotch. Growing up we had a turf/peat fire at home. When I moved to Australia in my early twenties I was introduced to Talisker, and even sitting in the baking heat of an Australian summer, just closing my eyes and breathing in the peat smoked smell, all the memories and warmth of home came flowing back.
